Committee members are an integral component to assure that all management positions have the human resources necessary to complete the tasks in preparation for HuskyTHON.

Campus affairs committee members are an integral component of getting people on campus involved in HuskyTHON. Some of the duties include visiting large lectures to give a brief presentation to share HuskyTHON’s purpose and mission with our students, and meeting with FYE courses to educate first year students about HuskyTHON. These individuals work with the Director of Campus Affairs to assist with planning/executing special events for Residential Life. The overall goal is to help advocate for special events throughout the year.
This committee is all about building relationships with businesses that have a desire to support HuskyTHON. These individuals will work to contact past partners, identify potential future ones, and solicit all of those businesses. There will be an emphasis on collaboration with other positions and committees, since sponsorship can be a part of nearly every aspect of HuskyTHON.
Entertainment committee members have a hand in making all 18 hours of HuskyTHON filled with fun! The duties of this position include brainstorming new activities and acts as well as organizing brackets for tournament games night-of. These individuals work with the Director of Entertainment to assist with outreach and planning for night of performers, activities, and games. The overall goal is to help make the night of HuskyTHON fun for our dancers and our patient families!
This committee works with schools around the state to put on Mini Marathons and other fundraisers to support HuskyTHON. Their primary responsibilities include contacting schools via email and occasionally talking to schools in person. These individuals must brainstorm new and creative fundraisers that schools and kids of all ages can participate in.
Media committee members are responsible for taking pictures and videos at our events. These members help make videos for events and work with our Communications Team on projects they need more assistance with. There will be an emphasis on collaboration with other positions and committees, since media can be a part of nearly every aspect of HuskyTHON.
These individuals will work alongside our Director of Special Events to plan all Special Events (ex. ZumbaTHON, Pasta Dinner, etc.). The committee will help with planning each event as well as running them and making sure everything goes smoothly on the day of. The events that will be worked on include Pasta Dinner, late nights, and ZumbaTHON.
The Finance Committee is a group that helps the Co-Directors of Donation Management to count and deposit all incoming cash donations throughout the year.
