Applying for HuskyTHON Committees

Dear HuskyTHON Participant,

Thank you for your interest in the HuskyTHON 2018 Committees! In case you don’t know, HuskyTHON is a yearlong fundraising effort at the University of Connecticut that raises funds for Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. We celebrate the year with an eighteen-hour dance marathon over the course of a February weekend.

From humble beginnings, we’ve grown to become the largest student-run philanthropy in the state. We’re proud of that, but our work is far from over. For as long as kids need hospitals, we’ll be around supporting them. And while our efforts are always changing and improving, our core purpose remains the same.  Together with Connecticut Children’s, we believe in giving children the care they deserve.

We’re a dynamic team that promotes intense collaboration and teamwork, with a management style that encourages the free exchange of new ideas and rewards self-motivation. We are led by a 28-person Management Team who oversees the following 5 committees. 3 committees are currently accepting applications: Corporate Sponsorship, Media, and Special Events.

PLEASE NOTE: Only the JonaTHON and Campus Affairs committee will be opening their applications at the beginning of the Fall 2017 semester, descriptions for other committees are included below for reference.
